The Story Behind Every Piece

Born from a Love of Wild Things

The Beginning

A Childhood Spent
Sketching Animals

Elena grew up in a small village where the forest began at the edge of her grandmother's garden. As a child, she would spend hours sketching the animals she encountered — the foxes that darted through the undergrowth, the owls that watched from ancient oaks, the deer that appeared at dawn like apparitions.

Her grandmother, a weaver by trade, taught her that the most meaningful objects are those made by hand — that every stitch, every brushstroke, every hammer blow carries the maker's intention and care. This lesson would shape everything that followed.

After studying fine arts and discovering the ancient craft of silversmithing, Elena found her calling: translating her love of animals into tiny, wearable works of art. She set up a small workshop and began creating the first pieces of what would become Wild Soul Jewelry.

The Craft

Traditional Techniques,
Timeless Beauty

Every piece of Wild Soul Jewelry begins as a sketch — a careful study of the animal's form, movement, and character. Elena spends weeks refining each design, distilling the essence of the creature into clean, expressive lines that will work beautifully in metal.

Once a design is ready, she creates a master model using traditional silversmithing tools — files, saws, and soldering irons. From this master, a mold is made, and each piece is cast in silver using the ancient lost-wax process.

But the casting is only the beginning. Each piece requires hours of hand-finishing: cleaning, filing, sanding, and polishing until the silver gleams and every detail is perfect. For our gold-plated collection, a layer of gold is carefully applied, adding warmth and richness to the design.

From Sketch to Silver

Our Handcrafting Process

01

Design

Each animal is carefully studied and sketched. Elena captures the creature's essence in clean, expressive lines that translate beautifully to metal.

02

Sculpt

A master model is hand-sculpted using traditional silversmithing tools. This painstaking process can take weeks to perfect every detail.

03

Cast

Using the ancient lost-wax casting method, each piece is individually cast in silver, preserving every nuance of the original sculpture.

04

Finish

Hours of hand-finishing follow — cleaning, filing, sanding, and polishing until the piece gleams. Gold-plated pieces receive a beautiful gold layer.

Our Philosophy

"Putting so much time and care into each piece, it feels like we're sending off a little bit of ourselves with every order."

— Elena, Founder & Artisan

We believe that jewelry should be more than decoration — it should be a connection. A connection to nature, to the animals we love, and to the human hands that shaped each piece with intention and care. When you wear Wild Soul Jewelry, you carry a tiny piece of the wild with you.
